Associate Professor Nguyen Thi Ha

Faculty of Environmental Sciences, VNU University of Science, Vietnam

Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thi Ha obtained PhD degree in Chemistry in 1996 (specialize in Organic synthesis) then she was chosen to go to Australia for Master course in Applied Science in Chemical Engineering. Since 1999, she has worked in Faculty of Environmental Sciences, VNU-HUS as high rank senior lecturer (Class I). Her majors are wastewater and solid waste treatment technologies that focus on resource and valuable materia recovery, pollutant fate and the effect on the environment and health. She has published about 80 articles in the Peer review Scientific Journals and International conferences. She has carried out number of projects as manager and also participated in some international projects with World Bank, Vietnam Canada Environmental Protection, Linkoping university; Kitakyushu university, Tokyo university,´as local consultant and environmental expert. She is visiting lecturer in Technology university of Dresden, Germany; Indiana university, USA and Linkoping university, Sweden. She is a member of Vietnam Chemistry Association and a member of Vietnam Environment Association. In addition, with her expertise, she has been invited to number of the National Scientific Consultancy Committees for Technology Evaluation and Appraisal and Environmental Impact assessment; Strategy Environmental Assessment and Provincial and Sectorial Socio-economic Development Planning.

 Assoc. Prof. Doan PHAM MINH

     Assoc. Prof. Doan PHAM MINH received his PhD degree in chemistry at the University Lyon 1, France in 2006. After post-doc experiences at French Institute of Petroleum and IRCELYON (France), in 2009, he has joint IMT Mines Albi as assistant professor, affected at the RAPSODEE research center. Since 2011, he is associate professor at IMT Mines Albi where he leads a research team composed of 5 permanent staffs and around 15 PhD students and post-doc. In parallel with teaching activities, his research is focussed on the valorisation of biomass, bio-wastes and industrial coproducts into energy vectors, i.e. syngas, hydrogen, biofuels etc., and useful materials, i.e. adsorbents, catalysts, and refractory ceramics applied in thermo-conversion processes, catalytic processes and thermal energy storage. He is principal investigator (PI) and co-PI of more than 25 research projects accounting approximately 3 400 k€ from public organisms and industrial partners. He is supervisor and co-supervisor of of 19 PhD students, 9 post-doc and 20 internships. He is currently editorial board member of Waste and Biomass Valorization (Springer), Energy Research (ITS), and Applied Chemistry (ITS). He is also co-founder and Chair of the Summer School in catalysis which is held every two years since 2019.
